What is a credit?

1 credit = 1 successful request, up to 30 seconds of browser time. Long-running sessions consume an additional credit per extra 30s. Session reconnects start a fresh credit. Failed requests (5xx, timeouts, unsolved captchas, blocked-by-target) are free.

Residential proxy bandwidth is metered separately at $/MB and shown line-by-line on every invoice. No premium-domain surcharges; you can scrape any .com or .net at the standard rate.

FAQ

What is a credit?+
One credit = one browser-backed request that returns successfully, up to 30 seconds of browser time. Sessions longer than 30s burn one extra credit per additional 30s. Failed requests (timeouts, 5xx, captcha unsolvable) are free.
How does this compare to Browserless’ units?+
Browserless charges 1 unit per 30s of connection time regardless of success. We only charge on success and we don’t add premium-domain surcharges. Most teams see 40–60% savings — paste your invoice into the migration calculator to verify.
Do you charge for residential proxies?+
Yes, transparently — at $/MB shown line-by-line on every invoice. Free tier uses datacenter proxies only.
Can I self-host?+
Yes. The gateway is Apache-2.0 on Docker Hub and GHCR. A Helm chart is included for Kubernetes. Self-host is free; cloud is metered.
What happens if I exceed my credits?+
Overage at the per-credit rate of your tier. You can cap overages or pause at limit from the dashboard. Free tier hard-stops at 1,000.
Refunds?+
Yes. Within 30 days, no questions asked. We will also pro-rate annual plans on request.
